The Abbreviated Man

Seamus Bergstein was an abbreviation for an actual person. He couldn’t refill a stapler, get drunk properly, stay employed for a year, stand more than a bee’s dick above 5’ without tiptoes, etc. Really, he was etc., short for “and so on,” constantly mispronounced.

Then Emily Wright showed him they were short for one another.
