Christmas time.
What do you get for the man who has everything?
A big house... a great car... a loving and devoted wife who looks after his three children... a great job... that keeps him out all night... and on weekends... a beautiful secretary who likes cars…
I’m thinking something in a .45 caliber.
Bastard.

Ok, wow - I never comment but that was awesome enough to deserve a wow! PERFECT pacing.
I'm a big Alan Moore fan, but... I don't know. Husbands and Knives?
No, wait, he was IN Husbands and Knives, didn't write it. I know I must be missing something... V for Vendetta? I give up.
Think Superman #11, 1985. With Dave Gibbons
Okay, looked it up. Whatever Happened To The Man of Tomorrow?
Thanks, CO.
I'm no Alan Moore fan in particular, but my guess would be The Killing Joke.
Captain Obvious has it: "For The Man Who Has Everything."
A classic story that was adapted (with a few alterations) into an episode of Justice League Unlimited.
I was just going to call this story "For The Man Who Has Everything" with no intention of referencing the Moore story, but as soon as my mind made the connection I couldn't resist the meta-joke.
