It broke people.
It was the Academy's worst test. Everybody failed. I was determined not to.
When I took it, I faced my single worse fear. Then they asked me "Were you afraid?"
When I said no, they told me that I had failed.
"Why?!" I asked.
"Because," they answered "you're supposed to be afraid."

I love this. The test seems to be some form of self-fulfilling prophecy.
