Two figures were on a road. Both were headless. One made of sticks pawed the ground with a twiggy hand.
"Sorry about the head, but you should have ran. I'm terrifying."
A trampled pumpkin grin mouthed silently. Slimy seeds covered the ground.
"So long."
Jack barely heard the horse clip clop away.
Pumpkin pieces trembled.
