Game On

by Gavin Williams

When I was a child, hide-and-seek was my favourite game. I relished finding places no one would think to search, and learned to move in silence. The dark was a comforting friend. It was a thrill to be chased, and evade capture.

I killed him to keep that thrill alive. Now the police are “it.”

Wow. Now that's how to do a twist end.

Reminds me of A Softer World.
