Escapism

The kids at school had picked on him again today, so as soon as he got home, Bradley went out back and opened the gate. Waiting for him at Nexus was Albert, leaning on his staff, draped in robes, magnum holstered.

“You’re early again,” Albert noted, frowning.

Bradley shrugged. “Wanted to get a head start.”
