The tiny spider jumped from Mark’s stapler to his electric pencil sharpener to his F1 key, seemingly without touching the intervening space. “How do those bugs move so damn fast?” he wondered. It jumped to his spacebar and turned to face him. That’s when the other 843 members of its family appeared on Mark’s desk.
