I watched one of the thousand robots climb atop a tank, pry it open, and devour its screaming, wiggling occupants. Then it looked right at me, seemingly thinking: time for the main course.
I dropped my binoculars and glared at the research director. "'Energetically Autonomous Tactical Robots'? You thought this was a good idea? Really?"
