The Surprise Bouquet

The Valentine’s bouquet was from me. True, it had none of your favorite flowers, and you do remind me each year which are your favorites. This year I picked those white roses that remind me of your pale pixie ears. Then I sent them to your new boyfriend with a note: “Thanks for last night.”
