He'd forgotten the jump would be rocky for a two-legged girl, so my first glimpse of Earth for months came from the cockpit floor, held in his warm gooey tentacles. But Frank's comforting embrace reminded me: Earth's not "home" anymore. Good thing, too. He'd also forgotten to mention how much time had really passed.
