John sat, grinning.

Dave just raised his eyebrows.

John said, “I asked her out.”

“High five! Where are you two going?”

John leaned back, squinting thoughtfully. “Gonna study for our math test. Maybe get
some coffee.”

Dave frowned. “Dude. High five rescinded.” He stood. “Math test,” he muttered, shaking his head as he walked away.
