I’m in the delivery waiting room, still thinking. Morgan’s a girl’s name now. Nobody likes a Dick. Even “Adam” can be mocked.

My wife doesn’t understand, doesn’t even know I wasn’t born “John.” MAAAAYnard. MAAAAAAAAAAAYnard. My boy won’t be teased like that.

The nurse! “John Selby? It’s a girl.”

But... the sonogram...
