THREE MILLION ADULTS DISAPPEAR
I read the headline with a sense of dread. I was safe, but my parents or teachers could be next.
Then I couldn’t breathe. The ground fell away and the world was a tiny speck in the distance.
“THIS HUMAN’S TOO SMALL,” a voice boomed. “UNDER REGULATION SIZE. THROW IT BACK.”
