Party Taboos I Knew

The partygoers trudged onward, filling awkward pauses with glubs of sticky beer. The girls cackled at half-assed jokes, posing cute to urge their admirers. Boys drank loudly and played unspoken games of alpha male assertion. I fought for transcendence from these bullshit tendencies, but became an exaggerated mirror of their madness; my secret sarcastic critique.
