We cured cancer. Sanity prevailed, and nuclear disarmament was going well. Bush became baseball commissioner. Gay people married, straight people threw rice. I was a famous author and they were making a movie out of my first best-seller.
I dreamed of a better world. Woke up. Looked out the window.
“I’m going back to bed.”
